IN THE PRODUCT
At ASSOS we know well that the lack of support of large muscles, friction and excessive pressure are the main enemies of long pedals. For this reason, we have created GTO shorts: a real revolution compared to the conventional structure of shorts with straps. We used recessed seams on the back and a completely new-shaped melt to eliminate rubbing and pressure in the genital area. Cutting and fabric provide unparalleled support for muscles, with impeccable fit, adherent to the body thanks to the construction without folds at the height of the legs.
FEATURED FABRICS
OSSIDIA, the main fabric of these shorts, offers the ideal balance between comfort without rubbing and muscle support. The indemagliable fabric consists of polyamide and elastomer yarns with very high finesse, to ensure breathability and compression of the muscles, wrapping the lower back and thighs with pleasant softness on the skin. The front panel is made with LOSANGA, a new fabric developed by ASSOS to eliminate pressure on sensitive areas.
CONSTRUCTION
For straps and legs panels we used the rollBar technology and the butterfly panel to ensure stability. Each leg panel is enriched by the louvreTec structure, with specific footage on the outside of the thighs, to provide a compressed and personalized seal.
ENGINEERING
zeroWaist: belt with a reinforced, lively cut back edge, which ensures there are no rubbing between fabric and leather. More comfort with less pressure.
superFlat X-FRAME: a single portion of elastic folded on itself, which forms a support X structure, with the aim of limiting vertical elasticity in the back.
Skin finishGrip finish: live cut edge with a very thin silicone application, which keeps the shorts in place without exercising excessive pressure.
INSERT
Fondello MILLE GTO c2 Insert: created with our proven goldenGate technology, that is free from side seams, and with the necessary recessed seams for a comfort without friction. For the front we used the new superlight sunDeck, heir of the iconic kukuPenthouse: a super soft fabric on the skin, without foam, preformed to cup to support the anatomical forms of man, ensuring maximum ventilation. In addition, this foundl is equipped with the twin21 System consisting of three different layers:
- MicroShock: the base of the case is made of an ultralight foam with a thickness of 11 mm and a highly cushioning composition.
- filterFoam: between the microShock layer and the 3D waffles, we have inserted a foam with low density matrix with a thickness of 10mm to completely absorb microvibrations. The open cell structure allows the elimination of excess sweat.
- 3D waffles: in skin contact we have a patented, perforated, three-layered foam, which increases breathability and reduces excess weight.
