Wind 57 inherit from the Speed family - top of road range in terms of performance - many of the proprietary technologies Fulcrum, to offer a higher riding feeling than the previous generation. Handling improves up to +22% and responsiveness up to +10%* for a versatile and comfortable product, suitable for modern cyclist.
Among the most obvious aspects, the height of the circles passes to 57 mm with an internal channel of 23 mm, while the graphic dress is totally new and follows the new stylistic canons Form Function Fulcrum, with an essential design and at the same time sought, that integrates all the technical information of product thanks to the new iconography.

ANTI-ROTATION SYSTEM

This new system dedicated to racing bike wheels brings the concept of ray to a new level of performance.
The technicians Fulcrum® have in fact redesigned beams and hubs so as to create a solid and inamovable set. In this way the rays:
a) never lose their initial tension, thus keeping the wheel perfectly responsive and centered;
b) remain in the position studied in the wind tunnel to ensure the best possible aerodynamic penetration.

All wheels Fulcrum®, of any type (for racing bike, mtb or cyclocross) are equipped with a small label. Do not remove it: it is essential to give you the guarantee that, in case of proven fault of a production batch, your component or your wheel will be traceable.

RIM FULL CARBON TECHNOLOGY

For the construction of the full carbon circles Fulcrum® combinations are used in the laboratory of different types of fiber, including the unique and the famous 90-degree 3K that finishes the models at the top of our range.
For their construction a special HTG (“High transition grade”) resin has been developed, which has a glass transition threshold at temperatures higher than any other fiber used in the cycle industry.
This allows incomparable braking performance.

UNDRILLED RIM BED

The absence of holes on the upper deck is synonymous with a homogeneous product at every point, without critical stress points.
The benefits are perceived immediately: less weight, greater length of the circle, greater resistance to fatigue, possibility of more tensioning the rays and greater rigidity that, in terms of performance, mean more reactivity and acceleration.
