The new SmartEVO2 represents the latest evolution in our world of high-performance racing bicycle tires, enhanced thanks to our experience in Motorsport and the needs of the modern World Tour cycling. It evolves from the SmartEVO mix of three polymers with 'smart' characteristics, using new materials and innovative mixing processes, now possible at our production plant in Italy located right near our R&D headquarters. This results in an overall improvement of adherence, especially on wet surfaces, and a reduction of rolling resistance at record levels for its category, raising both performance and driving sensations to what the world's fastest World Tour runners require.

STRUCTURE

SpeedCORETM is a tubeless-ready chore developed by Pirelli (Brevetto waiting) for our high-performance cycling tyres, representing our most advanced TLR technology to date. It comes from the automotive experience of Pirelli and it is also possible thanks to our new production plant in Italy, near the headquarters of Milan. The construction of SpeedCORETM consists of a thin and waterproof layer of aramide particle foam mixture. This layer covers the inner part of the tire and thanks to the presence of aramide in the rubber mixture, allows better mechanical resistance, improved air retention and greater overall flexibility: all contributes to the overall performance of the tyre.
