The exceptional performance in all weather conditions is achieved thanks to the combination of two well-known technical characteristics: the SmartEVO mix, the latest evolution of the road-specific formulations Pirelli, and the TechBELT Road, a 120tpi tube-type carcass and an anti- drilling band in Nylon. The tire also has a new design: special deep lamella are combined with a design of the tread more often, resulting in improved adherence to low temperatures, greater mileage and better protection against holes. All the features of the new P ZEROTM Race 4S are made in Italy to offer a unique quality and superior performance.
COMPOUND
The new SmartEVO Compound uses a mix of 3 different polymers, each of which provides specific performance ensuring a perfect balance of opposite characteristics, such as grip and smoothness. Pirelli has exploited its exceptional experience developed over 100 years of Motorsport, where it has always competed in the highest competitions of every discipline. TECHBELT ROAD
Very high performance carcass that has an additional layer of fabric underneath the mix, which has been specially designed to increase the protection to the drilling under different conditions of use. The combined use of this layer and carcass canvas make the structure more efficient in terms of rolling resistance and weight.
