Its lightweight Rider-First Engineered™ frame offers excellent ride quality across all sizes. The Tarmac Sport model uses an SL7 frame and the new Shimano 105 12-speed mechanical group, offering a combination of lightness and wireless shifting. During development, aerodynamics was considered crucial, alongside weight control to maintain performance. Through the use of the FreeFoil Shape Library and tools like isotropic FEA analysis, engineers developed a Fact 9r frame weighing just 1010 grams, keeping aerodynamics, stiffness, and ride quality unchanged. Thanks to Rider-First Engineered™ technology, the Tarmac is balanced and manageable in every dimension, making long days in the saddle even more comfortable without sacrificing the legendary responsiveness. Feedback from professional teams SD Workx, Soudal Quick-Step, Total Energies, and Bora-hansgrohe was crucial, after thousands of kilometers ridden to perfect this bicycle.
