Shadow RD technology now also available on the new Ultegra R8000 gearbox! The low-profile design Shadow RD is born in the MTB world and is already used on Dura-Ace R9100: the derailleur is more compact and closer to the frame, ensuring less damage in case of fall. It also allows you to install the control cable more easily, in order to create smaller clutches and facilitate the change.
