The 3C MaxxTerra of Maxxis is a triple mix configuration used in our mountain tire line. The 3C MaxxTerra mix offers more traction than 3C MaxxSpeed, but offers better tread wear and less rolling resistance than MaxxGrip, which makes it ideal for trail riding in all conditions.

EXO

EXO + is the medium-term drilling protection option Maxxis suitable for all round trail riding and light e-bikes. Let's start with a durable 60 TPI carcass, add our legendary EXO hole protection layer to the sides and we complete everything with a small butyl insert around the heel. The resistant carcass and EXO material prevent damage caused by rocks and roots, while the butyl insert protects the tire from squeezing and helps prevent damage to the rim.

TUBELESS READY

The tubeless ready tires offer the cyclist many advantages: the ability to perform lower air pressures, which improves traction; less rolling resistance than a tire with air chamber; and less possibility of flattening because there is no tube. The tubeless ready tires are marked by the letters "TR" on the side. The tubeless ready tires must be mounted on compatible tubeless wheels and require the use of a liquid sealant to maintain pressure. Liquid sealants have the additional advantage of sealing small holes. Make sure to check the sealant regularly and refresh if necessary as it will dry over time.
