A new construction that improves driveability and protection from puncture to low pressures, key factors in off-road applications, especially in the most demanding and aggressive applications such as Gravity and e-MTB, for which sturdiness of the heel and the stability of the hips are fundamental pillars in performance. This innovation derived from the experience of Pirelli in Motocross has a rubber reinforcement of height increased on both sides combined with an additional layer of fabric that connects it to the heel, stabilizing it (+10%) and protecting it and increasing the resistance to pinches of 50%. Reaching a level of solidity and stability to the loads of the sides of the rubber proper to the downhill tires, without the burden of a traditional bi-label. All this results in lightness, flexible tread and therefore in grip and handling even at low pressures (+25%).
