Ideal for you!
You are ready for a full suspension solution and want a versatile trail bike with a great value for money. You are looking for a safe, efficient and responsive bike to always have everything under control, regardless of the path you are facing.
The technology you get
A sturdy aluminium frame with a knock-block steering wheel that protects from the rotation of the handlebar. RockShox Recon Silver 140mm fork, 130mm rear hike thanks to the X-Fusion Pro 2 shock absorber, robust transmission Shimano 12 speed tooth, telescopic seat and hydraulic disc brakes.
The last word
Full suspension performance without the ballast of the usual shock absorber. Fuel EX 5 has the same proven chassis technology that cyclists have loved in recent years, with selected components that allow to contain the price and ensure a high level of power.
That's why you'll like it
- A high-level bike with an exceptional value for money and with canvas technologies such as Boost148 and ABP that offer so much handling and all the space to upgrade the components as your skills grow
- It offers a much more expensive trail bike and is able to deal with both singletrack and occasional XC or enduro racing
- The telescopic seat allows you to lower the saddle to the flight, improving the freedom of movement downhill
- The RockShox fork with DebonAir spring can be easily calibrated according to rider weight and is lighter than a mechanical spring solution
- To ensure the ideal fit for all cyclists, we have expanded our range of measures. In addition, you can install the fastest and most efficient wheel according to frame size: 27.5" on XS frames; 27.5" or 29" on S and 29" frames on M to XL frames
Will my bike have a curved horizontal tube?
The smaller frames (XS and S) are equipped with horizontal tube that curves approaching the saddle tube. This design allows a lower standover height, great for lesser cyclists because it allows you to get on the saddle more easily. The larger frames (from M) have a straight horizontal tube since the tallest riders have longer legs and usually do not have the same problems with the height of the standover.
Active Braking Pivot
Active Braking Pivot technology has enabled our engineers to optimize suspension behavior when reacting independently to acceleration and braking forces. This means that you can get a more secure control when needed.
Straight Shot with Knock Block
Trek's Staright Shot design optimizes the relationship between stiffness and frame weight by offering a more responsive ride. You can ride stronger and stay planted on your line when the game gets tough.
