In 2010 Castelli presented the Gabba to professionals, changing the way they run in the rain and cold and the way they dress for workouts when the weather is cool. The Gabba is also the perfect piece for cool weather for all non-professional cyclists, because it keeps you the trunk warm and dry without heating too much. The last Gabba is the fifth generation and this version is basically waterproof while maintaining breathability and protection from the wind that have always made Gabba a product so special. The Gabba uses two exclusive GORE-TEX INFINIUMTM WINDSTOPPER® separate fabrics Castelli: one on the front, shoulders and sleeves, warmer and 100% waterproof; the other on the back, lighter, breathable and elastic, sufficiently protective against the water that hits you from behind. The "2" in the name refers to the latest version updates, including a YKK® Vislon® zipper with top and bottom opening, for greater ventilation adjustment. The refractive insert on the back is more visible, the seam on the top of the shoulder has been moved to the back and the three pockets are more capacious. Generally, the Gabba is worn over a sleeveless underwear and a short sleeve shirt and we combine it with Nano Flex sleeves for the coldest and/or wet conditions or Seamless arm warmer for mild conditions. The Gabba RoS 2 is a must for pedals in autumn and spring.
