At the limit between a long sleeve thermal mesh and a small cloak, this jacket offers greater thermal protection, reflective panels and an integrated ventilation system.
FEATURED FABRICS
The front panel of the jacket comes from the twinDeck matching of our Push Pull fabric, also used for summer jerseys, with the highly thermal internal layer of Rhombus fabric. These two combined materials offer the breathable, aerodynamic characteristics and elasticity of a standard racing jersey, with additional thermal insulation. Long live cut sleeves are made with our SONIC-SN, an extremely elastic ribbed fabric, which dresses like a second skin, also thanks to the micro-smerging on the inner side, which guarantees additional thermal protection.
CONSTRUCTION
In the front, at the height of the shoulders, there are two reflective “valves” that act as a ventilation duct and let the fresh air enter from the outside, channeling it inside the two layers of the twinDeck. When we ride to the limit of our forces, positioned forward, the body may need a touch of fresh air, but lowering the zip is not always easy. This design solves the problem, offering central body temperature regulation, without sacrificing aerodynamics.
ENGINEERING
twinDeck: two-layer construction of fabric that increases thermal insulation using together the Push Pull and Rhombus fabrics. Used in front panel and upper back.
Diffusor: ASSOS exclusive seam system that creates symmetric reflective "valves" in the front of the shoulders, letting cool air filter into the twinDeck for further ventilation.
Double-Slider Zipper: self-locking zipper (cam lock) with double slider, metal frame, with high stabilizer tire to facilitate use with one hand.
Triple Ramp Pockets: our patented design of the three pockets with mesh closure band, to store items in safe, easily accessible, in the color of the climateCode, enriched with reflective and micro perforated transfer insert to ensure visibility.
