MIPS AIR® PROTECTION SYSTEM
MET Trenta 3K Carbon MIPS offers the highest performance without compromise when it comes to safety, ventilation and weight. The MIPS AIR® protection system is integrated into the padding, maintaining the distinctive lightness of the Trenta 3K Carbon, with the addition of the most advanced rotational force management system in case of specific impacts. The MIPS AIR® replaces the classic padding and has been developed and designed to be as light as possible.

TECHNOLOGY 3K CARBON
3K Carbon technology distinguishes this helmet from any other currently on the market. Our R&D team found that the carbon elastic module reduces the EPS density by 20%, without compromising its ability to absorb shocks. The result is a lighter and more efficient cap that imposes a new standard in the construction of the most ventilated road helmets.

NACA FERITO
Originally developed by NACA (later NASA), the characteristic NACA wound design generates an active refreshing air flow. Thanks to the Venturi effect, the outdoor air is channeled through the helmet and is linearly expelled from the back vents along with the heat accumulated inside. This constant airflow does not affect aerodynamic performance, maximizing performance and ventilation.

PUBLICATIONS
The back of the Trenta 3K Carbon has a great impact on the aerodynamics and the recirculation of the air inside the helmet. The design is characterized by two wide vents and a precisely angled deflector of 25°, the optimal position to facilitate the passage of the air and offer maximum ventilation even on the harshest climbs.

CODA TUBOLA
The tubular tail is designed with aerodynamic criteria: it works in synergy with the NACA wound and the rear deflector to channel the air flow. It has a lower profile in the back, developed thanks to specific wind tunnel tests in the NEWTON laboratory in Milan.

CONTACT SUPERFICIAL
The internal fit of the MET Trenta 3K Carbon MIPS is exceptionally comfortable and designed so that only 30% of the helmet is in contact with the head. This allows the remaining 70% to benefit from the air flow that is channeled through the internal cavities, keeping the head cool at high and low speeds.

PORTA-OCCHIAL FERITOIES
The two front wounds are designed to offer a safe seat where to insert sunglasses, uphill or rest. A thin rubber coating ensures the stability needed to maintain the eyepiece in place.
