OTTIMIZED CONTACT SUPERFICIENTA
The wide contact surface of the KéO 2 Max immediately identifies the product.
Its width has been increased to 60 mm to provide a wider platform and improved foot stability during pedaling. This creates a feeling of comfort that is not found in any other pedal.
We also tried to optimize the power transfer thanks to its new 500 mm2 of usable surface (+ 25% increase). The shape of the stainless steel plate has been revised to adapt to that of the pocket and to maintain, regardless of the position of the foot (depending on the angle float you use), the same amount of contact for constant performance.
By increasing the contact surface that can be used by the pedal, without any weight gain, it improves the Power-weight ratio, making the product even better and allowing you to perform better.

IMPROVEMENT
The KéO 2 Max axis profile has also been optimized. Built around a large "Chromoly Plus" steel pin, the mechanism consists of an axis with an internal ball bearing and a roller bearing, located under the contact surface, to manage the load and distribute it optimally. A new component was added between these two bearings. A serrated washer, previously used to maintain the roller bearing in place, was replaced with a conical spacer. This technical solution reduces friction, increases fluidity and, consequently, reduces the geometric tolerances of the pedal body and the game.
The only purpose of the sum of these improvements was to ensure exceptional reliability.
