We pushed beyond the limit to improve our light shorts since 2011, but we had to be careful not to compromise durability in the search for an ever lighter weight and therefore we looked for a better road.

We have examined what the pants must ensure: must maintain the bottom in place and at the same time must be made of the least possible amount of fabric to reduce its weight, without obviously being transparent, in addition it must resist at least for a season of intense use. So we developed a new fabric, using a weave instead of knitting that reduces the weight of 30%, ensuring the same level of support without being transparent. Then, we worked with the best fabric manufacturer in the world to build a fabric that became lighter and lighter towards the bottom of the leg, with the final part weighing only 90 g/m2 compared to the normal fabric used for shorts weighing approximately 220 g/m2.

This shorts does not compromise comfort. We used our best Seamless Project X2 Air Seamless blend and the spectacular striped straps of the Free Aero Race 4 model and a flat leg bottom, elasticized, anti-slip that keeps the pants in place.
